The model run results cover the period of May 26, 2015 through June 15, 2015 and are based on the following assumptions: Common Assumptions 1. CCFB Gates are operating to the Priority 3 as of January 6, 2015. 2. The Delta Cross Channel gates were closed on December 1, 2014, however beginning May 14, 2015 the gates have been opened during consecutive weekends, and is anticipated to be opened again during upcoming weekends. The gates open position season is anticipated to start June 12, 2015. 3. The Middle River ag. barrier was installed on March 31, 2015 with all 6 culvert flap-gates tied open. As of April 3, all six flap-gates are tidally operated, and barrier is scheduled to be raised one foot on June 4, 2015. 4. The Old River at Tracy ag. barrier was installed on April 3, 2015 with all 9 flap-gates tidally operated. 5. The Spring Head of Old River barrier was installed on April 3, 2015 with all 8 culvert slide-gates opened and is scheduled to breached June 2, 2015. 6. The Grant Line Canal ag. barrier was partially installed on April 17, 2015 with all 6 culvert flap-gates tied open. On June 15, 2015 the barrier is scheduled to be fully closed with all 6 culvert flap-gates tidally operated. 7. Suisun Marsh salinity control flashboards are installed and the three Suisun Marsh Salinity Control Gates are in tidal operation as of December 31, 2014. The flashboards are scheduled to be removed on June 2, 2015. 8. San Joaquin River flow at Vernalis is at 435 cfs at the beginning of the forecast period and is projected to stay at about 400 cfs through the forecast period. 9. San Joaquin River EC at Vernalis is projected to increase from 541 umhos/cm at the beginning of the forecast period to 584 umhos/cm by the end of forecast period. 10. Sacramento River flow at Freeport is 7,922 cfs at the beginning of the forecast period and increases to 8,500 cfs by the end of the forecast period. 10. CCFB allotment is at 900 cfs, but was at 1,300 cfs during the portion of the JPOD period of May 26 and 27. 11. Export at Jones Pumping Plant is at a daily average rate of about 400 cfs, but was at zero pumping during the portion of the JPOD period of May 26 and 27. The model run results do not include the effects of the False River drought barrier, which was completed Thursday, 5/28. We are in the process of re-running the model to include the barrier.
