DSM2 Weekly Forecast: July 19, 2016 - August 8, 2016

Common Assumptions

1. CCFB Gates are operating to Priority 3 throughout the forecast period.
2. The Delta Cross Channel gates are open as of June 18, and will remain open throughout the forecast period.
3.  Suisun Marsh salinity control flashboards are removed, the three Suisun Marsh Salinity Control Gates are in open position.
4. The Middle River ag. barrier is installed with all 6 culvert flap-gates operating tidally. The barrier was raised 1 foot June 22. 
5. The Old River at Tracy ag. barrier is installed with all 9 culvert flap-gates operating tidally. 
6. The Grant Line Canal ag. barrier is fully installed with all 6 culvert flap-gates operating tidally. 
7.  San Joaquin River flow at Vernalis is at 360 cfs at the beginning of the forecast period and decreases to 280 cfs by the end forecast period. 
8. San Joaquin River EC at Vernalis increases from 410 umhos/cm at the beginning of the forecast period to 590 umhos/cm by the end of forecast period.

With Transfers (Base Case, A) Assumptions

9.  Sacramento River flow at Freeport is at 18,629 cfs at the beginning of the forecast period and decreases to 17,980 cfs by the end of the forecast period.
10. CCFB is at 690 cfs at the beginning of the forecast period and increases to 6,000 cfs by the end of the forecast period. 
11. Export at Jones Pumping Plant is at 1000 cfs for the major portion of the forecast period.

Without Transfers (B) Assumptions

9.  Sacramento River flow at Freeport is at 18,629 cfs at the beginning of the forecast period and decreases to 17,480 cfs by the end of the forecast period.
10. CCFB is at 690 cfs at the beginning of the forecast period and increases to 5,800 cfs by the end of the forecast period. 
11. Export at Jones Pumping Plant is at 800 cfs for the major portion of the forecast period.
